Deer Lake continued its winning ways Saturday night at the Hodder. They hung on to knock off the visiting Port aux Basques Mariners 5-4. Noah Legge and Brady Marche led the winners with a goal and an assist each. Billy Clarke had a strong game in goal for the Red Wings.

For the Mariners, sniper Dylan Savory continued his scoring ways with 3 goals and a helper. Rookie defenceman  Andrew Fleming had 2 assists. Port aux Basques got outstanding goaltending from Ryley Nadon. He turned aside 38 shots.
